Our Mission

The Cullman County School Library Media Programs, in partnership with the entire community, are dedicated to providing collections that are developed, managed, and which support the curriculum in order to provide all learners with equal access to a full range of resources and services in keeping with national, regional, and state guidelines assisting our school community in developing patrons who are engaged 21st century learners, who are effective and ethical creators and communicators of information, and who become lifelong learners.

Purpose: To provide awareness level training to educators regarding the implementation of the College & Career Ready Standards for Alabama students. Beginning with the overall view of the purpose of the standards, how they were derived, and where our State is headed in the plan to implement ELA and Content Area standards.
